    I so know that feeling lately. I usually try a combination of focused meditation and deep breathing exercises for about 30 minutes. After that, I say "screw it," then turn on the TV.

    There was a calendar mixup with my sub job. I had it in writing that I did not have work today. Turns out I did. I also was away from my phone when they were frantically calling me. Whoops. They were really worried about me because not showing up is not like me, and they got it figured out, but I still feel terrible.

    I get to deal with this on an almost daily basis. Most times, I vacillate between wanting to scream and taking a pencil and stabbing myself in the neck

    In my variation, it's the same person complaining about the same situation ad nauseum.
