Ok manager at Portland Oregon Budget Car Rental location, airport. When I respond to your e-mail with a three paragraph e-mail referencing "PDX" and restating some points that my last two rentals had issues (for example- ended up driving for two hours listening to "your door is a jar, your door is a jar, your door is a jar," in a mountainous with no radio signal to drown it out) and you respond "isn't PDX Portland Maine?" I'm left to believe you are in fact less than competent. At first I thought well this lady must work at some main office, nope. She included her ph# which I called at 0300 her time and asked for her. The nice young man on the phone stated "Umm no, she's not here. She's our manager and works 9 to 5." Serious you work at PDX and have no idea that you're not, in fact, in the state of Maine? No wonder your employes can not mange hand signals that average drivers understand.

 

If only it were that simple! It's not the expression stuck in my head, but a song by The Lumineers that I absolutely detest.

I'm going to go work on getting something less obnoxious in my head to take its place.

I will be sitting in meetings all day, and deciding how much more of this corporate game I'm willing to play. There's a lot that rubs me the wrong way already. Exactly what else they've got up their sleeve could very well send me past my breaking point.

Seriously, is Kung Pao tofu such a weird order? They chefs laughed at me. But made it for me anyway. Don't laugh... Y'all are serving Chinese food in southwest Louisiana.

 

I spent over an hour on the phone trying to sort out my F&MIL's mess after their Discover Card got hacked, and still wasn't able to reach all of the people I needed to speak with. I had my cell phone in my shorts pocket, somehow it got locked on the T-Mobile welcome screen. I eventually had to take out the battery to restart it, should've tried that from the start ( duh, me). It's good thing we still have a land line.

 

This I dislike, where's the dislike button?
