    Gave one of the best auditions of my life on Friday, and still wound up losing my spot in the Jazz Lab Band to a freshman.

    Son of a bitch.

    Well, I guess that frees up 3 more hours of my week?

    Also, if 2 freshman managed to beat me out, that means they're going to be a *hell* of a section this year.

    Bon Jovi screaming at me does not make me feel better. I'm Livin on a Prayer my teeth have recovered from the braces debacle a few years ago... Two crush cavities in the past two years from them being moved improperly. :(

    I feel like crap and I have stuff I gotta do. Mom's dog is old, can't hear and has diabetes. I'm a dog person so I get it she's family to her but checking her blood sugar and giving insulin is a task. Doesn't help when I bend down to pick the little girl up my head starts pounding and my nose starts running.
