The Complaining and Bitching Thread

I have to go to the lab tomorrow on my holiday weekend.

Wheee.

 

Tomorrow's the last day of my last summer vacation of my undergraduate career.

I will be spending it frantically trying to prepare for the school year that starts on Tuesday.

Full-time classes, plus senior design, an 18hr/wk job, a 9 hr/wk job, pep band (maybe), jazz lab band, keweenaw symphony orchestra, my responsibilities for mu beta psi, volunteering at the humane society, volunteering as a range safety officer for Tech's pistol club, and (thrown in there just for fun) a potential D&D campaign. And that's not even counting the extracurriculars that I haven't signed up for yet but have plans for.

I have a leak in the ceiling of my dining room that 2 plumbers and 1 roofer cannot find the source of. I'm terrified at how much it's going to cost for a "Leak Specialist" to find the source of the leak. And I'm also tired of hearing "drip, drip" into a bowl on my dining room floor.

 

Fuck customer service in this country.

Fuck it right in its motherfucking ear.

 

Canker sores suck.

Labor Day marks the end of summer here.
Why does it have to rain the whole damn weekend?

 

Feels that way here, too. It's 52 degrees and overcast after a couple of months of 70-80. I'm actually contemplating putting on real pants instead of shorts.

 

I decide to be a good grad student and actually show up, and Dr. Dickhead isn't even here today. Oh well. Hopefully this will get me some brownie points.

 

My lover is going to be out of town for 10 days.
I am so spoiled. Wah me.

 

2:30 am migraine.
Fell back asleep at 3:45.
Hubs up at 4,decides to drive self to airport.
Mad dash ends up in 15m late departure.
Now I'm supposed to go back to sleep.
Holy headache. Should have filled the ultracet rx.
Damn. It's going to be a long day.

 

Found a new car on Saturday. Still waiting on it to be shipped from another dealership. I was patient on Sunday and Monday... now I just want it to be here. Hmph.

 

I was feeling better yesterday, somehow even sicker today. Maybe if I cough on Dr. Dickhead, he'll let me go home early.

A girl can dream.

 

Headache + Hungry and bored Bengal = I've been up 4 time since 5am. Some days I want to skin this cat and just keep his pelt to snuggle with. *sigh* I guess I'll keep him, but my head hurts.

We are dealing with an infestation of teeny tiny ants. I'm about to go all Erin Brockovich on the leasing office.

 

Setting deadlines on new projects when you haven't given anyone any information and don't know what it's going to take to get to the goal is not a good way to kick off a partnership.

 

Sugar ants are a bitch to get rid of. I hated those things when I lived down that way.
