Today I realized that competitiveness is a really stupid, irritating trait.

 

Listen, I offered to take your cat in because you were desperate and refused to bring it to a shelter. Which I understand. I told you that I was not able to meet up with you to hang out at my house to see if your cat would get along with my cat. I am working. Yes I work from home. But no, that doesn't mean I can check out for a couple hours and chill. I am doing you a favor. Why the fuck are you pissy at me?

My dad has wiped me out already. Just the Internet 101 instruction...and he won't stop using IE...criminy.

 

My best friend is getting married tomorrow. This wedding is expensive and unorganized, and I'm so over it. I can tell you that, but I'll never say a word to her.

 

Had to unbox and unwrap 75 Chromebooks (narrowly avoiding cardboard cuts along the way), enroll them into the Google Management Console (which, for being a Google product, is surprisingly shitty to work with), and copy all of their WiFi MAC addresses into the DHCP server. Took us 8 hours, and there were four casualties along the way.

If I never have to see an HP Pavillion Chromebook again, it'll be too soon.

 

I worked half a day Friday!
Now I have to work half a day Sunday...

 

I have to go out today and buy a new vacuum cleaner. Fuck.

 

Woke up from dreams of choking to find that my throat is swollen and my tonsil is worse. Lots of blisters on the back of my tongue feel like popcorn pieces are stuck back there. Awesome. Guess I'm going to have to break down and call the doctor.
