In other news, I've been trying to create a new thread for...ummm, about three hours now. Customers keep calling or coming in, and distracting me. Stupid work.

 

Better make sure your boss doesn't catch you goofing off on the internet at work. At least he isn't a stalker type that follows you home....oh wait.

 

Sorry to hear this, the_jazz. I know nothing of what goes on behind the scenes on this board and I never will. I don't have the skill set you have to do what you do nor do I aspire to be a part of the board as anything more than a member.
It would be cool to get to know you as 'just' a member as you know too well being an admin takes away a number of freedoms/privileges that we enjoy. You are a true asset here both as a member and as an admin but I'd rather lose you as an admin and keep you as a member.

 

Turns out that the venue that I bought those Presale Coheed tickets from has a VIP section that you can buy tickets for that gives you a balcony with less people than the floor.
Now paranoid that either a) the group of friends I'm going with are going to all buy VIP tickets and leave me in GA, or b) they're all going to buy GA tickets and I'll feel like a heel for holding them back.

Blech.

 

Worked from home for the last week and a half to tend to the wife cause she has the flu. Now the night before i go back to the office , cause she is much better, I'm getting sick. FML dude. FML.

 

I live with the loudest morning person I have ever met.

 

The wife wants a baby. I'm 46, and feeling it, and she's 29 but has been through the medical wringer with leukemia and cervical cancer. She also has severe reactive hypoglycemia, amongst other ills, and takes about 20 pills a day. Her doctors say she'll be lucky to make it out of her early 50's. So my thinking is we'll both die at about the same time and leave our child alone in the world right after high school... My head hurts. Why can't she just get a puppy already?

 

Because "tick tick tick" goes the lady's clock.

Mine did that without me really knowing and then BAM...preggers.

Also, she may feel that since her life is so short, that she'll want to leave a legacy behind through a child.

With my family history, I fear that I will only have 20 years with this little BabySquirrel. My mom and dad both died in their 50's. I look at it as I had 21 great years with two great parents. Some people don't get that joy. They either have terrible parents for 40 years or never know who their parents are.

I'm lucky and your child will be too.

 

There's a Kitchenaid on sale. And I really can't justify the expense even though this is like the MOTHER of all sales... because C accidentally clipped a fence last weekend and we are looking at a $1700 body shop bill. >.<
