Yes, I know sizes are different. I'm actually talking about specific waist measurements in inches.Which you would think would be uniform.


The shop does returns with store credit, so I'm about to just order it and say fuck it. Also, it's just the waist I'm having issues with, so if it doesn't fit now, I won't get to wear it to Dragon*Con, but I'll be able to wear it eventually.

I know! I've used multiple size charts and ordered based directly on measurements and they still don't fit. Numbers shouldn't lie, but they do.

 

Uh oh. You don't have that weird baby position that pushes on it already, do you? A friend of mine spent 7 months in sciatic hell.

 

Noooooooo.....My baby is already grounded for causing mommy so much pain.

It hurts when I sit for long periods at a time, like when I'm at work or have to drive far distances.

 

I read as many customer comments on the item as I can. Sometimes, I won't buy due to no comments and when their is a pattern of 'this garment runs small through the bust', etc., I adjust accordingly.

'Course that won't work for a specialized, one-of-a-kind-item. It's a pain.

Sorry to hear this. You've probably sought ways to reduce the pain already but what came to my mind right away was the O-shaped cushion my mom used to sit on when she broke her tailbone (twice).

Are there baby-mama specific thingies to sit on because --when's this kid due--awhile, right?

 

Baby isn't due until the end of January.

I'm sure there is something out there especially for this....but I don't feel like spending money. I'll just not sit on my ass so often.

As you get more pregnant, your pelvis will likely have issues, which may make it worse. It might be worth it to spend some $$$ on an SI (sacroiliac) belt or do more physical therapy (hahaha you knew it was coming) exercises for pelvic stabilization. Just sayin'. If it's too bad, you won't be able to pick up your munchkin when he or she arrives for a while, so take care of it now perhaps, mmmkay?

 

And massages. Lots of massages.
