    Well, the conference was kind of the centerpiece for a larger vacation including the North Coast, Russian River Valley, and Sonoma before our arrival in Napa. :(

    Filibustering a mega omnibus budgetary bill isn't "defending" or "standing up for the interests of" convicted terrorists; it's opposing a heavily altered and pretty shitty bill that covers way more items than your fucking terrorist citizenship measure.

    Fuck, I hate propagandists, especially when they hold elected office...especially when they hold majority power immediately after being found in contempt of parliament.

    Their corruption has reared its ugly head, and now they're whining about all the wrong things.

    This government fucking sucks.

    In our community band we play nothing but marches. Badly.
    And, apparently, the Finale from Dvorak's New World Symphony. Also very badly.
    The symphony player in me is in a white-hot rage. That is an abomination of an arrangement that should be set ablaze with thermite.
    ...seriously. Who had the bright idea to arrange a Dvorak Symphony for a band? And transposed to the key of friggin' D, no less... seriously? E minor is such a badass key, so just because some brass players don't like it you have to change it? Whaddafuq?
    And why does our band director, knowing full well that (because we are a community band) we have the most atrocious instrumentation that one could come up with, keep trying to make us play it?
