My hairstylist continues to be impressed with the overall health of my hair, and I realized this morning that most people probably don't wash their hair with three shampoos, or condition with two conditioners, but I'm not most people.

I switched to Tigi's Resurrection in January; my stylist has been using it on my hair for a while, and Ulta had their sale. At the rate I use shampoo and conditioner, I expect these will last me a couple years. In addition to the Resurrection shampoo and conditioner, I use Neutrogena's clarifying shampoo once a month to kind of strip anything out of my hair, as I use a lot of silicone styling products. I've also been using Nizoral every week because I've had a flare-up on my scalp that I'm trying to get back under control. Conditioner-wise, I'm still using Aphogee's 2-minute Reconstructor, which is amazing stuff and very potent, along with the Resurrection conditioner. Today, the routine was Neutrogena, Nizoral, Tigi shampoo, then Aphogee Reconstructor, which is currently sitting on my hair under a shower cap, and will continue to sit there until I rinse it out in ten minutes. Then I will condition the ends with the Tigi conditioner. I'll give myself a blowout and then let my hair really dry out so my husband can straighten it for me tonight while we watch television. He's very good at it, and I've been getting salon-like results from his ministrations.

And though I've been working out 5x a week, Batiste dry shampoo really takes care of sweaty roots like nobody's business, and I'm in love with the smell. I also know I'm just damn lucky to have the kind of hair that can look equally amazing on day 8 (which happened yesterday because I got my hair cut on a Friday, and refuse to wash my hair any day other than Sunday).
