New Gallup poll suggests Dems’ election results could mirror Obama’s 2008 victory

Some Optimism going into Election Day. (for non-fans of Chump)

I only hope, it's enough momentum to keep the Senate for the Dems and get the majority in the House.

IMHO, I'd like a trouncing to dump Chump from any future politics, make the GOP fade and let a less radical more logical conservative party emerge...and let the Dems fix SCOTUS and the Filibuster.

You would think that they could find a better candidate. Except the different factions on the right don't really like each other either. Poor whites, white racists, rich whites, religious, crypto-finance bros, sports fan men, anti-tax crowd, landlords, franchise owners, etc...

It's actually an old mindset...the nobles had it long ago. And even now, they're trying to essentially re-establish the nobility. Almost 250 years after we kicked them to the curb.
People who have $$$ want to keep their $$$ and don't want to mix with the rabble...and have significant influence, if not outright power.
Power corrupts, the ultimate power corrupts ultimately.

    SSDD

Has nothing to do with intelligence, it's about ego and status.
    Even if they're new rich.

I'm looking at all the different media source....and everyone has something different.
    It's all over the place.

Frankly, I think projections should be illegal.
Again, the media is only interested in the horserace, not the consequences.

If you project and report on early wins for either/all candidates, then you're potentially influence the states in latter time zones.
A person who's later in the day after work, decides to not go vote due to projections.
Plus, it creates anxiety...and they often get it wrong.

There should be a law, they cannot announce until the next day, after most of the counts are done. No more projections on the day of the election.
Just like they prevent canvasing a certain distance from polling /voting stations.

But again, media doesn't care about their impact...too little too late, too much too soon...24/7 tabloid journalism. (All to see more add and get more $$$)

Another reason not to project, it's very lopsided, then California comes in with its whopping number, balancing it out.

I'm sorry to see both Ohio and Florida go to the dark side. (for this campaign at least)

And one media outlet has Kansas as a Dem/Harris win. Are they rebelling from their ol' school radical right VIPs?? Kansas HAS been showing signs of this in the past year or so. Maybe it did turn the worm.

On a Dem Win note...They won the senate seat in Maryland, Hogan goes down.
This may flip the Senate solid to the Dems. (they worked hard on this race)

Makes a big difference to the prez on having allies on the Hill and getting thru agendas.
Harris will have her work cut out for her, even if the Dems own both branches.

I'm not iking what I'm seeing, but I'm also relying mostly on network news, NBC & ABC. I've always felt as though CBS is too soft on Trump.

Our big Texas fight wasn't much of a fight, it looks like Ted Cruz will win with a 9% margin. WTF does it take to get rid of this lowlife? Many Texas voters are morons.

ABC just reported Georgia is most ikey going to NPD Trump. Just fucking great.

This is likely going to come down to certifying everything again...it's going to be a LONG haul.
    Votes will be counted repeatedly.
    Monitors will be sent out.

Biden and Harris won't take it sitting, I think...they know what's at stake. There's been Russian interference and more...
I hope she doesn't just give up.
The media just like declaring immediately...they do always.

    I hate this crap.

America just doesn't do women well.

And it looks like The Senate is the GOPs...the House may switch.

WTF is wrong with over half the voters in the US? I feel like I went through an election in a third world country.

    *****
The voting appears to be decisive
    ...as sad at that is.

Any interference is over & done. With the exception of actual voter fraud, what can be done? Not much.

    *****
One of the worse aspects, outside of having Teflon Trump back in office, is listening to the smug maga sssmouths verbally masturbating. I turned the mainstream news off at 01:25 this AM, turned it back on at 04:45 AM, & turned it off at 05:00 AM; I don't want to think about what is happening at FAUX News. I can't even stomach hearing his name.

    *****
Once my shock, numbness, & anger pass I'll start looking at what a Teflon administration means.

    So far it's clear:
The federal documents the documents case will remain closed.
The federal Jan 06 case will be closed.
The NY fraud sentencing will be a slap on the wrist. The Georgia election interference case was a screwed up mess already. If it doesn't die from prosecutorial stupidity, it'll be left in limbo, or some Republican official in GA will kill it.

Teflon's reelection is going kill any movement towards reforming SCOTUS, tightening vague & ambiguous laws regarding removing a POTOS (the SCOTUS already dealt that idea a KO punch).

    *****
What are we in for under Teflon over the next four years?

WTF is wrong with over half the voters in the US? I feel like I went through an election in a third world country.

    Edit: Many typos.

It’s going to be a long haul, long counts.
Lawyers are going to be on call.
Russia has already noted to interfere especially in Georgia and Pennsylvania.

Biden and Harris both still prez and VP
Will use every resource at their disposal
    There’s serious manipulation galore, fact.

And Chump will find his actions in the past on the process goes BOTH ways.
So it’s up to Biden and the Dems…and anti-Chump VIPs to NOT give in.

If they bow down, it’s. Over.
But if they fight, and stand
Just like the GOP does, with diligence and passion, they’ll win.

    Because the past was fraud
This is conspiracy and proven again and again so far.
If the Biden and Dems and anti-radical right, including people like Cheneys

You’re going to see a back & forth.
Remember the Pentagon doesn’t like him
So they’re on Biden’s side for now.

This is going to get hairy
    Courts and everyone and everything
    Tooth and nail.

Even bringing out the military and guard and FBI

    Get your popcorn out
    if Biden stands
    And Harris doesn’t give up…

It's all on Biden and Harris and the Dems now.
They've got to fight all and stand tall.

But if they give up and bow down...then we deserve to lose to the tyranny.
There's been too MUCH conspiracy and interference...if they're bold and wise.

Hate to tell you this, this is NOT really a democracy anymore.
    Not right now...

    1. Chump and his cronies and allies will turn it into something else.
    2. Biden can do anything he wants until Jan 6th, SCOTUS gave him that. He may act. Up to him.
    3. The Pentagon hates Chump and are in fear for their stars...they may take steps.
    4. The Dems may not want to give up that easily.

    We're in strange times, dude.
Who knows where the ball is going to land.

    Laws don't matter any more.
Just power and who's in control...and who can influence who.

    And that's sad.

What happens if Biden & Harris uncover voter influencing? It's not going to change the results.

As long as the actual voting is clean & fair, Harris (& the USA, & Ukraine) are fucked.

Demanding recounts sounds good in theory, but all indications are the voting is accurate. It be great to prove some states manipulated the actual votes, & Harris is the winner, but let's be honest, that's not going to happen.

Part of me is in favor of Biden making the transfer as difficult as possible, say 10x worse that what Teflon did 2021. But part of me says that would be seen as vindictive. It was fine when Teflon did it, it would be viewed as a horrendous act if Biden does it.

Where was the wave of women voting Dem to protest the new abortion restrictions?

Where was the wave of black voters supporting Harris?

Did the above happen, but Teflon motivated a successful counter wave?

Some pundits are saying us voters weren't ready for a female president. That statement would be much more accurate if you put black in front female. A large number of voters didn't want a black female POTUS.

Once I recover I'll be interested in reading the various election analysis. Right now I'm going with
over half the voters in the USA are shit-for-brains morons.

    Well Harris conceded.
    She’s done.

The AG is wrapping up cases. (Thanks for literally nothing, you spineless sap)
    Just pathetic and complicit.

So it’s up to Biden and the Dems (and anti-Chump players)
He can still do anything until Jan 6th.

But we essentially see why we’re in this clusterfuck…
One will anything to win. (And likely did, there’s still fishy things)

The other is complacent and overly sensitive and doesn’t play hardball.
And many who clam up and sit on their hands until too late.
Too little, too late…and a bunch of wimps.

Now y’all know how Hitler got in control.
    Same scenario.

And so, we hope he doesn’t trigger nukes.
    Everything else is negotiable.

He will probably give away Alaska to the Russians.
    Putin wants it.
NATO will have to go without the US.

    China will take Taiwan back.

    And so on…
    New World Order.

Me, I’ll be fine as a white guy with a business
And already with plans to move to Portugal before this election even started. (Just a matter of coordination and finally getting a leg up on resources.)

But I feel sorry for the rest of the world.
    Strange times.

Maybe I’ll just give myself a Birthday gift of an earlier transition. We will see, plans are in the works.
Anyone needs a gig, let me know.
    Expanding rapidly, quickly.

I’ll be pulling away from here to focus on lots of business and getting rich. (New noble?? Geez)

There’s only so much of me to go around
And I’m reaching my physical limits. Can’t be everywhere.

This was going to happen no matter the outcome or winner.
    Things change…people change.

    C’est la guerre
    C’est la vie

And this is why we can’t have nice things.

Wonder how long unto Mr Napoleon Complex crowns himself emperor???
Going down in the history books, for sure.

    I'll blame the voters too.

For some reason there were 100,000 or so in North Carolina that voted for the felon candidate, yet then proceeded to vote for Democrats in every down ballot race. The NC governor one I can understand some party swapping, but not the rest of them. Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, and Michigan all look like they voted for the previous president, yet then voted for the senate.

The only thing I can think of is name recognition...like the con ploy Eddie Murphy's character used to get into Congress in "The Distinguished Gentleman"
Some didn't even know Harris was running, they were confused why Biden wasn't on the ticket.

So because the media has constantly and ubiquitously has Trump's name up everywhere 24/7 (for good & bad, mostly bad) for over a decade...it triggered their lizard level of their brains to vote for him.
America destroyed by a Hollywood comedy plot.
    Sounds appropriate.

He lives and thrives on the mantra, All news is good news, even bad news.
He's right, America is a bunch of suckers.
    Sad. :(

Frankly, the future QC crisis, I'm predicting, may be the thing that destroys the economy but saves the US
That or he croaks from age and diet...but no such luck, he's a cockroach.
