Way to go, Texas. Piss off the entire country, see how that works out in the long run.

This could be dead on arrival. The SCOTUS turned down a motion from Pennsylvania to throw out some votes, and did so using a single sentence. Quite a few folks are saying this is clear message from the court, basically don't try to dump this crap on us.

At least SCOTUS denied the PA bid
So it’s likely they’ll deny this too.

    *sigh* sanity at last.

106 House Republicans are supporting the "Texas" lawsuit.

I hope the SCOTUS tells Texas AG Ken Paxton to shut up, go home, and mind your own business.

Are we going end up having armed confrontations?

SCOTUS also rejected a suit filed by Wisonsin Republicans.

One report gave me a chuckle. Trump was hosting a party, but hadn't yet joined the festivities. After news of the courts ruling was released, an announcement was made that Trump wouldn't be "coming downstairs" to deliver a speech to his guests.

We might see some delaying tactics from Senate Republicans, but the official process will be completed.

Will the deniers and contrarians let it go? When?

Im so tired of seeing them. Makes me wonder how many millions of dollars they have spent

Mitch McConnell FINALLY acknowledged Biden & Harris.
Too little too late from the turkey necked asshole, IMO.

But since he does have power & influence, the acknowledgement is a very good and useful action.

McConnell is still a turkey necked asshole.

Supposedly, McConnell now has a “problem” that he has to deal with a good portion of the GOP that’s still denying the Biden win.

Frankly, they’ve made the problem themselves.

There are certain elements in our country who are taking the whole Democrat's cheated to win beyond memes on Facebook.
This is starting to get really ugly, really fast.
It's one thing to be angry and disappointed with the results of an election.
I remember how I felt when Nixon was re-elected dispite Watergate being a thing.
It's something completely different to run somebody off the road and hold them at gunpoint.
This is all kinds of fucked up and it will get worse.

That story is currently big in our local news (and unfortunately will soon become old news). I hope this leads to an investigation of the group that paid him, Liberty Center for God and Country, and its CEO Steven Hotze.

What's scary is he was paid a considerable amount, around $260,000.00. And Hotze, in the brief TV clips from a previous story, sounds relatively normal.

How did things get this stupid and scary, insane?
Are we going to have armed confrontations at the White House?
Are we going to see more plots against people viewed as Anti-Trump?

The strange side effects of dealing with the pandemic may be adding to the weirdness of some.
People get edgy in war times and may adding to anxiety...especially if it affects the economy.

    Even politically.
    Strange times.

Also the affects of constant media re-enforcement may be adding to the tribal mindset. “Us vs Them”.

Steven Hotze is now saying no gun was involved in the confrontation, the police are making it up.

And he's using the revived media attention to again present his election fraud conspiracy theories. Apparently he is paying quite a few "investigators."

    Hmmm.
I could figure out a way to get a slice of that pie.
    Hmmm.
    ;) :p
