Yes. I've previously mentioned that The Toupee is too used to issuing orders and having people follow them without questions. The bureaucracy involved in getting anything major done would drive him crazy as POTUS.

"Mr. President, you can't do that."
"I'm the President! Of course I can."
"There are procedures that have to followed, Mr. President."
"Look, I'm the president and I give the orders!"
"Mr. President, there are very few things you can do without the approval of congress. The U.S. Constitution was written with so that the executive office didn't have absolute powwer."
"I'm the President of the United States!!! I'll suspend the Constitution, and fire anyone who tries to stop me!!"
    (huge sigh)
"Mr. President, you can't do that."

An update to the list. It looks like the first candidates are dropping out. Are you surprised at how this primary has gone so far?

I wonder when the Democrats will finally get their act together and have a debate. And there is just as big of a split in the Democrats between progressives and centrists as there is in the Republicans with the outsider Tea Party and the insider establishment. Biden is the only one that might enter the race and change things up for the Democrats. I just don't see anyone else entering the race on the Republican side, nor should they want to. Condoleeza Rice might be the establishment's last hope in defeating Trump if they would want to try. I'm shocked that Walker crashed and burned so soon.

I also think the media is controlling this election so far. Both by who they give airtime to, and the questions they ask. But also by the type of coverage the candidates get. It is a little too much like The Hunger Games...

I always use 2 spaces even when websites change it to 1.

Have the Democrats had a debate yet? It seems like it has been the GOP primary summer and none of the other parties can even present their ideas, or get the country to work with them if elected.

I asked psychologists to analyze Trump supporters. This is what I learned.

    Principles from the article....
    I must be weird...
    No, No & No

If it's entertainment...then I may like big talk...but if it's serious and important, calm and collected is much more comfortable.
Sure, it would be nice if it's easy...but I see more people make the WRONG call because they're annoyed a problem or given answer is complex. Give me the facts, the truth...I'm a big boy.
Wrong, I'm fascinated by different...but only if it's natural, not forced. It's a new perspective to me.

And I don't want an entertainer, a cartoon, for President.
It's a SERIOUS fuckin' job...not a damn beauty pageant or casino.
This is NOT fantasy, it's as real as you can get.
    Lives are at stake.
And your decisions could affect them and the nation for DECADES.

I've realized for a long time that I'm often a stranger in a strange land...
That I think differently than many of my surrounding population.
Not that I'm alone or only...but certainly a much smaller group of the whole than I would hope.
    That I want facts.
I want details...and if they're complex, so be it.

That ignorance is NOT bliss...what you don't know CAN hurt you. Everything counts.
And personality, looks and charisma, I don't care...I only care about if you right or wrong...and if the results are productive and forward-moving.

Big mouth, so what. Quiet, so what.
Beauty Queen, so what. General, so what.

Are you taking it serious? That matters.
Are your evaluations right? That matters.
Do you have the right people?? That matters.
Do you get productive results??? That matters.

    Why do people need easy?
Why do you need it the same?
Are your minds that fuckin' lazy??

    I'm weird.
    Because I want the truth.
    And different is interesting.
And I don't want Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho as president.

Cause are you ready for your world to turn into Idiocracy??

    Very interesting article from 538
    The Endorsement Primary

The charts and lists show a profound comparison.

I wonder how Clinton got so many endorsements already? We haven't even had all the debates yet, and I don't even know what positions she will have on the issues come election day.

I don't have a problem with Hillary, but I know the general election will be nasty. And I'm not sure she will be able to hold the swing states of Ohio, Florida, Virginia, Colorado, and North Carolina. The opposition will be energized and organized. But the centrist moderate Democrats aren't going to be a match against them. If Clinton does get the nomination and Sanders, Warren, or Biden isn't the VP choice, I'm not sure what will happen.

Clinton ran for president once. most of her positions have been discussed.

Hilary looked pretty damn presidential and prepared while under interrogation by Congress. GOP candidates throwing temper tantrums isn't helping their cause.

There's plenty not to like about Clinton; but I'm going to vote for the most moderate candidate.

    "How Stupid..."
GOP field strikes back after Donald Trump’s anti-Ben Carson rant

How ironic is this statement considering that whole damn time MOST of the GOP have been saying outlandish things (if not total fantasy)
And it would be quite appropriate for Trump to go down for his mouth. ;)

The kind of president we need
By Robert M. Gates - served as secretary of defense in the George W. Bush and Obama administrations.

Damn Straight. Please tell it like it should be.
Unfortunately, the people that need to hear it and absorb it will ignore it.

This isn't Hollywood or entertainment, this is REAL

Has Trump trumped himself finally by calling on ALL Muslims to be banned from traveling to the US??

Big bad statements did in Carson...he took a dive. Is the same true here??

Trump could very well be paving the road for another Democrat president. His ridiculous anti-Muslim stance will play to a very small group of voters, and hopefully open the eyes many of those who think that he'd make a good POTUS.

I'd love to pose some questions to Trump:

Given your anti-Muslim statements, and the fact that as a businessman you employ many people directly and indirectly, have you fired any of those people for being Muslim?

Are you willing to openly tell Muslim applicants that their religion is the reason that you won't hire them?

Are you willing to absorb the cost of defending your position when some of those applicants and fired employees sue you (they are most certainly likely to win the lawsuits)?

I don't think so. There are still a large number of anti-Muslim Tea Partiers who listen to talk radio that don't have a problem with this statement.

I doubt that the number of anti-Muslim voters is "large." They might be vocal, thanks in large part to the news media wanting and creating 'controversial' stories.

Knee-jerk reactions are normal. Having a POTUS who attempts to act on them would be a VERY bad thing.

I read Hillary's comments to address encryption techniques more than anything else. I still disagree with her; but it's a narrow topic. If you put in a back door to encryption, hackers will exploit it. It's what they do. Someone outside of the US will come up with encryption that doesn't have the back door and ISIS will use it.
