This is Big Boy on the left, and his brother Tipper.

 

Haha. Knew it wouldn't last long.
This is my brothers dog. It recently moved to town and into our yard.
He has been laying calmly on his bed all night, until my cooking on the bbq became irresistible.

His name is Red Dog.
Don't know why.
He's got no real red in his coat.
Plus he is mostly deaf. So you can call him anything.

Introducing Oscar, my son's pup. He got him from an animal shelter 3 years ago. Son and his wife are now living in the basement but their new house will be complete in a few months. Then I will be in doggy withdrawal.

Muffin. Master of what my kids refer to as 'the derpface.'

 

On October 10th, my boyfriend and I welcomed a new addition to our little family. Her name is Gamma! She is a rescue, and her mix is really unclear - they think Lab/German Shepherd/Australian Shepherd (a couple of the siblings look full Aussie or GSD), but her face is starting to look more like a Pit from the front these days. Who knows! She's VERY smart, and she gets crazy around 9 pm every night. We call it Puppy Witching Hour (the Feline Witching Hour is around 11 pm).

Managed to snap one of Leia this morning. She doesn't normally look this sad, I promise-- she thinks getting her picture taken is scary.



(also, my red-eye tool doesn't do much for orange eyes, apparently.)

 

I recently came to the conclusion that, basically, Benjen and Leia ARE Helper Dog and Simple Dog. If Benjen was a lighter color, it would be a nearly perfect comparison.



Also, here is Benjen after I woke him up from a nap:

One of my friends has a gorgeous all-white German Shephard named Luna. She's a feisty little bugger, adopted from a shelter and victim of being kept in a kennel for days on end. As a result, she's not so trusting of people, so my friend is trying to get me socialized with her.
I still have all of my limbs after the first night of walking, so that's a good first sign.

Don't let her cheerful demeanor fool you. For now, she's fiercely territorial. She won't hesitate to go straight for your throat if you enter her domain before she's ready to let you.

 

I really want to snuggle attack Luna. She would eat my face, but it would be totally worth it.



....I'm kidding. Mostly. Kudos for working with her and getting her resocialized!

 

I have no idea why she is sleeping in my closet....
