    Because everyone's worst week got dropped. The way the league works (and always has) is that everyone gets their worst week erased from their score. So if you forget one week you aren't ruined, or if you have only one really bad week, it isn't horrible. It does make the first couple of weeks rankings fly around a bit, since some people's worst week is pretty bad, and others' worst weeks aren't that bad. It evens out by the end of the season.
