I know that you posted Friday AM......but.......you've already seen it? Your above quoted post shows 1:17 AM  .

    ---------------------------------------

EDIT--Last nights episode of The Big Bang Theory had some pretty damn funny tie-ins to SW and Sheldon and Amy finally banging.

See what I did there? Eh? It was so unintentional I almost missed it.

It ended up that my wife said she'd prefer a late night Thurs night than an early morning Fri. So we exchanged our tickets from 9AM Fri to 10:20pm on Thurs.

I don't want to post any spoilers to ruin the fun for anyone here, but I really enjoyed the movie. She is generally less of a fan than I am, but SHE really enjoyed it too.

    You're fine.
Those ones you heard about never really happened.
This new one might be actually worth your time.

When they had a few new ones couple of years ago it confused me and I decided not to watch them

Same here. I enjoyed them. I'd probably watch them again, but I only have the "remastered" VHS set, and I'm not motivated to reconnect our VHS player.

A buddy of mine wants to take his son to see it tomorrow, so I am going again. This time to see it in I-max.

Of course! They'll make prequel to fully explain how the twist came about, and a sequel to explain what resulted :p.

Ok. It's been bugging me since I saw it last week.

When the hell will someone in the SW universe put RAILINGS on balconies, and NETS over bottomless caverns!

    It's not rocket surgery, people!

  14. Saw it in IMAX 3d on Christmas day. It's a good continuation of the franchise, I think, and does a nice job of introducing new characters.

I enjoyed the IMAX, but felt the 3d wasn't that great.

The Supreme Leader's look reminds me of a character from another epic franchise. That disappointed me.

I'm ready for episode VIII. Hurry up, J.J.!

Sadly, JJ isn't doing 8. Though I read that he vetted the script and said he wished he had signed up for it, and that he approves of the direction it goes.

I was also not all that impressed with character design but I do have to admit that making yourself 50' tall is kind of an obvious thing to do when you have hologram technology.

  17. That's troubling. A different hand on the rudder, a different eye at the lens...

I agree. I thought he was fantastic and hoped he would do all of them.
