Long answer: See a relationship counsellor, rule out all other options first, etc. then consider sex outside marriage as a last resort. However, what's a relationship without sex? Just a really close best friend? The only thing worse than sex with nil intimacy, is intimacy with nil sex...

 

The fact that you could ask that question tells me that you already know the answer. There are people in the same situation as you and they come out pretty fine on the other side without going to such drastic measures. Think about what it would do to your wife if she found out? If you love her and you want to be with her like you say, i'm sure you'll find a way to do just that.

Well I am not sure if my post is even needed here after 6 pages, but hey..I feel like sharing something.

So Mr. Fiddlebone, you are needing a satisfying, sexual relationship with your wife. Your wife has deemed otherwise and you are stuck with Rosie and Palm. I am very sorry to hear this. But this was the case with my soon-to-be hubby and his first wife. They had been together for 26 years. He is 15 years older then me. He was already at the point of no return when I met him (meaning he was out to find a piece of ass, wife or not!). When I met him, I was about an inch from choking out my D-Bag hubby (whom 3 years later we are still fighting in court). It was a situation where we knew it was wrong but neither of us were getting what we needed. You are going to have to talk to her (if you haven't already) or you are going to have to choose; fulfilling relationship, or marriage to a friend. It sounds to me that she wasn't very giving to your needs in the first place. Its a hard choice and no one likes it, but you need to have those needs filled.
