I've made many posts about our sex life in this thread, other threads, & on TFP 4. A couple of things are bothering me.

1. I don't want anyone to get the wrong impression. We go through lengthy dry spells, especially over the past year or so. I would love to say that we have still have 'honeymoon sex' at every opportunity, but that isn't the case. Some of what I post is recent, some is from the past. Our lovemaking isn't always great and adventurous, sometimes it's mediocre and vanilla.

2. I am very fortunate and extremely grateful that I met and married a wonderful woman who is openminded and willing to experiment. I wish for the sake of those who might feel that they're missing something they had a partner with my wife's "That sounds like fun!" attitude, but I know that that's not the case. Sexually speaking (and in many other ways), we learned together.

3. For some this thread probably reads like some kind of sex contest. That is not my intention when I share our experiences. There's a thin line between sharing and bragging.


I'm going to continue to share in this thread and similar threads, and I hope that my posts aren't taken the wrong way.

I also want to express my gratitude to the others who help keep these threads going: Thank you.

 

You shouldn't feel like it's a competition and you should feel free to relate your experiences honestly. The quality of a relationship changes over time. That's not necessarily good or bad, just likely. It may be that some of the people posting are much earlier in their relationships and are therefore experiencing a different aspect of them
