Ginni Thomas and Mark Meadows texted about overturning 2020 election

Oooo...that's not looking good at all.
And puts a big mud pie in the face of Justice Thomas.

BUT, if anyone is doing wishful thinking...thinking this will take down and oust Clarence Thomas...I don't think so.
The man is NOT known for giving up or backing down.
He will be there until he croaks.

Unless they're somehow able to directly tie him to the activity...and Impeach him.
But that's going to have the same pattern as trying to impeach Mr. T.
Dems vote to impeach in the House, then it gets submarined in the Senate.

I wouldn't try for it, it would be a waste of time...unless it's going to be to damage Thomas. (and make it uncomfortable for the GOP)
However, CT doesn't have any shame, nor does the GOP these days...you'll just make them dig their heals in.
So I don't even think it's worth mudslinging by the Dems...let the media do that.

It will help the House Jan. 6th committee come up with more issues for especially Mark Meadows.

There is a reason that kids are moving away from small towns in the midwest once they hit 18...

There are many reasons to move. And Red vs. Blue probably has little to do with it. I moved from Red (Kansas) to Blue (Massachusetts) back to Red (Nebraska) to pursue opportunities. And I've enjoyed all three places.
I do live in a Blue city in a Red state, which does moderate the redness somewhat.;)

A lot of the moving has to do with quality of life.
Blue states in general have better economies and more jobs.
If you are kid growing up in rural Alabama there is a very good reason to want to get out.
Kids in Alaska the same way.
I saw a presentation about Gen Z, that showed they are one of the most mobile generations.
They will move wherever they think will be the best place for them and they have pretty high standards.

Ginni Thomas’s emails with Trump lawyer add to tumult at Supreme Court

    Y'think???

So the wife of one of the justices turns out to be actively trying to do a coup. Overthrow an election...keep in an ousted corrupt president.
Yeah, that would throw a twist into relationships.
    Who do you trust now?

Much less the abortion overturn leak.
Or the death threat stalkers, assassination attempts.

Roberts court is in termoil...no matter what "face" they're putting on.
It's not all friends and respect.
    I call BS.

    Ok, they threw that grenade.

Now to see all the damage from it.
    Should be interesting to see.

But SCOTUS has gone Wild West.

Y’know I do blame the aggressive extremists.
But I also blame the Dems for being naive and not acting.
Being a bunch of dupes and apathetic hand-wringers.

If you’re going to stop aggressors
    You’ve got to be aggressive.

    America doesn’t represent everyone
It only represents those in power

Thomas also wants to review the cases that decided contraception, marriage equality, and ending making gay sex illegal.
I noticed that Loving, the one that ended laws against interracial marriage wasn't on that list.
Fuck you very much Clarence Thomas.
In fact fuck every single justice who voted for this travesty.

Screw you, Obama, and the Democratic Party, for not fighting like hell for your rightful SCOTUS nominee.

Thank you, RBG, for hanging tough as long as you did.

AOC says Supreme Court justices who lied under oath must face consequences for 'impeachable offense'

    Now that's an interesting angle.
I wonder if the Dems would go for it.
Never would get past the Senate after Impeachment. The trial and vote has the same criteria as the prez. 2/3rd have agree.
They tried with T...and struck out twice. The GOP have too many to get it by...and stick to party lines.

I think the Dems are going to stick to the committee. Get T...or at least put more pressure...make him more of a headache for the GOP leaders.
Really the only way the justice are getting out is by croaking.

It won't happen, but it doesn't mean that they should be exposed as frauds. It might delegitimize the Supreme Court though, which they deserve after invalidating a ruling for their own personal agendas.

It must be nice. You can say one thing during the Judiciary Committee hearing, completely change your position once on the court, and face no consequences for lying.

If SCOTUS is delegitimized we could face some serious chaos, a Free For All among the states wouldn't be good.

Clarence Thomas Quotes False Vaccine Conspiracy Theory In Dissent

Nothing but quality people on the US Supreme Court...right???

No wonder almost a million have signed a petition to impeach Thomas
    Much less...
    His wife's activities
    His lack of questioning
    Etc and so on...

The man is worse than useless...but actually pushing for MORE twisted logic judgements.:confused::mad:

IIRC Supreme Court justices hire very bright clerks capable of performing accurate research. Perhaps Clarence Thomas consulted with his wife when hiring his clerks.

    ...

NPD Trump couldn't completely gut the EPA, but his SC pulled what was left of its teeth.
