Gotta agree with Baraka Guru, Rape is always wrong, regardless of the victim. I disagree with him on treatment, I don't think that pedophiles can be cured unless they want to be cured, so I'm quite okay with Sandusky spending the rest of his life in prison. Society should be protected from those who would prey on others, and the prison system should serve that purpose, but I do think that we have a problem with overcriminalization, just not in this type of case.

 

right now they're removing the statue from beaver stadium... (that just didn't sound right, sorry)... "as part of the healing process" according to the university president rodney erickson, they're going to maintain the paterno library. that seems like a band-aid to me over a larger wound than can be healed.
