Just as long as its an email app that keeps the inbox in memory...

A lot of countries don't have common Internet access.

My expired passport photo is still present after a few years at gmail, we should be fine.

While my wife is fine with the backcountry/rustic in the US, once a passport is involved, it's more a question of 3 stars vs 4. We won't be taking a tour of 3rd world bathroom facilities.

My renewed passport just showed up today. I'm ready to travel the world now. :)

I have one, but it's expired. I used to go to Cuba several years ago.

I have one that expired. I need to get a new one so I can get the Global Access and TSA Precheck. Hubs works for an airline and has it, so if I travel with him, I get left behind at security.

Got my first passport last year at the age of 48. Went to the Bahamas. I may go to a European destination in the next couple of years. My child just got her first, at 18, and she's going to Japan this summer.

    Yes, I have a passport.

I've used it a decent amount. China, Japan (many times), India. Not sure if they bothered with it when I went to Canada for the TFP Meet Up in 2013. (2013, guys!!) The boyfriend and I are doing a two month country-hopping stint in Europe come August, so we'll be using it a lot then.

I have scanned it and emailed it to myself in case I ever lose it, along with my driver's license and health insurance card.

My passport is curved because I carry it in my boot, alongside my calf, not my purse.

  8. Yes. I use to to use it regularly to go to the USA to pick up stuff I bought online. Now the CAD is crap i don't use my passport so much. I've used my current passport to go to Thailand, Laos, China, Mexico, Cuba, CostaRica and the USA. Going to Italy later this year.

I was given grief at the USA border for having a Cuba stamp in my passport a few years ago.

Reminds me, I need to get a new passport. I am almost out of pages and need to get Visas for both China and India (they take a page each!) and it will leave me with fewer empty pages than I need to travel.

Judging by your posts here, your PP is probably nearly worn out.

It's okay, I keep it in a passport holder rather than strapped to my calf inside my boot. :)
