    In order:

Cycling - on and off road
Kendo - getting hit on the head lessons
Swimming - not so much now that I don't live in a condo with a pool
Yoga - just not that awful hot yoga bullshit
Running - I like it, my knees don't

I don't like going to a gym. I don't like riding a stationary bike, I need to travel somewhere.

Yep. I've been fitted repeatedly, I have the shorts with the cushioning, and tried a bunch of different seats. The only thing I can think of is that it could be related to the lopsided development of part of my pelvis after I broke part of it at 17. My sitz bones (because I can't spell the actual name) get very painful too, as I broke the left ring off during the car accident. I just have to satisfy myself with shorter rides.

I'm an avid skier and hiker, I get cranky in between seasons. I've exercised in gyms; but it bores me to tears.

You wouldn't think of riding motorcycles as excercise; but my upper body gets sore as hell the first few weeks of motorcycle season.

I had that problem, because of the hours that I was biking. After about 7500 miles later I brought another bike, this bike I can wear normal clothing and have no problems, I even one time rode nude and the seat gave me no problems.
Than I brought another bicycle to in my business for erne runs . That bike, starting to hurt again, so that discovery mean the seat is the problem. By the way all my bikes are upright style. So two things I would do to fix your problem, replace the seat and check for fitness and if it is the right style of bike for what you use it for.

    I bike just about everywhere.

If I get my life in order and have time to do it, I like P90X and lifting weights.

Swimming and running are good, but I tend to pull tendons and tear muscles in my legs and knees when I do run or swim.

Have you tried a recumbent bike?

This seems to be a bigger problem for women than I realized. I would think if they fitted you for a bike that they would have tried different seats, even the extreme no nose ones.

Mainly weights. I used to love gymnastics, but no floors available to old clods like me. Used to bike a lot, but the roads near me are too dangerous for my fat hiney. Used to love hiking, but it takes time, which is in short supply. I enjoyed martial arts, but can't stand to hear the BS while in class. Too much mystical crap, and lies about street fights...
