My old phone mount on my car's dash finally got too brittle and snapped from frying in the Hawaii sun for too long, so I got this new and improved version. Got it on Ebay for $28 and free shipping. You just push your phone onto the little red X-shaped button in the center of the holder/clamp and it springs shut automatically to grasp your phone. Important to me since my phone is really my only source of music (Pandora, YouTube, and PowerAmp - the Android version of iTunes).

@OtherSyde , I started reading the first box first, instead of what you wrote, and after reading a few of the descriptions with the red lines pointing to the mount, I thought, "Oh, he's got another sex toy...".
Then I read the line, "Easy 1-touch universal car mount."
Either he's REALLY kinky, or I'm totally off base. :p

The main reason is for the bike trip I'm taking next month.

I may also mount it on Stanley some time to see what he's up to when we are gone. :p

Bought this and a 12 pack of Steamwhistle today. Now I'm listening to the album and drinking the beer. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.

    My latest purchases:

My new GoPro Hero3 Black Edition (with the Surf Edition Package), with a butt-load of goodies from online as well. It's got built-in wireless and you can connect your iPhone or Android phone to it and control everything like zoom, resolution, picture/video modes, and even get live video feed like a remote camera. So awesome.

I grabbed a few Class 10 16GB MicroSD cards too, they do about an hour of continuous 1080p HD video each.

    .
And I bought a bunch of mounts (chest mount, head strap mount, stick-on helmet mount, suction cup mount for cars or whatever, and the floaty mounts).

I used the extendable pole mount and floaty mount to get great action shots while snorkeling and zip-lining during my trip to Maui with my girlfriend Casey, and used the suction-cup mount to stick it to the hood of our rental car to get great driving shots while wirelessly controlling it from inside the car on my phone. Pretty sweet setup! My only regret is not finding a Hero3+, apparently they have like 25% more battery life. Oh well, the extra battery keeps me in business!

Also, to follow-up with the green TEIN S.TECH lowering springs I posted a month or so ago, I finally got them installed and now my ride sits a bit lower...

OK I'm really whoring it up right now, just because I've been too busy with life over the last few weeks, but this is the last one for now, I swear...

New art! FabuArt.com sent me a 50% off coupon, and who was I to say no? FYI these aren't prints, they're actual oil paintings - all their art is actually painted by painters and every piece is a little different. I've been collecting them. The one in the bedroom with the blue trees forming a heart was the first, which I have to credit my now-ex-wife Lenee' with picking out. I just kept it because I liked it too much. Then I got the blue abstract one in the living room, which it almost 6 feet across. The swirly one that looks sort of like comets in the night sky over the headboard of the bed is the one I just bought.

And finally, I bought these neat glowy charge cables from Ebay. The iPhone cable slowly cycles through different colors, and the 5-pin micro-USB cable lights up when it's plugged in, and the little blue Tron-lights flow endlessly towards the phone/device like little glowing blue marching ants. It's really cool.

Oooh, very manly man-vs-wild Chuck Norris devices there :)

Seriously though, what is the bottom one..? It looks pretty awesome - like it's an ultra-modern techno-knife, but at the same time, with its angular shape, is reflecting its distant stone-age ancestral equivalent of a sharpened shard of obsidian... Is it a mini-machete for hacking through the jungle, or is it for sneaking up on and eviscerating unsuspecting Charlies?

SOg mini Machete, useful for all kinds of things but most importantly fits neatly in my backpack.

My latest acquisition was a gift from a client's brother. He gave me a FD mount 50mm F/1.8 he had no use for which is perfect for my Canon FTb-QL, and works on my DSLR with the adapter. Still planning on buying a 28mm prime as well, that will likely be an F/2.8 lens.
My current tally is 3 FD lens to 2 EF lens counting the 1990 Kit Lens which is strictly close macro as far as I am concerned.

uploadfromtaptalk1407210216673.jpg Got a set of hardrace bushings for my Acura Integra. My car is 15 years old with 167,000 miles. The original bushings are shot. These are also stiffer than new factory ones are, so handling should be improved. They are rubber, so they should avoid the issues known to aftermarket polyurethane bushings.
