Policing the Internet : Are there any ethics left?

Seriously not the way I'd talk to the guy who owns the place.

 

Are you making any effort to collect on this debt?

Years ago, I obtained a money judgement in my favor against an extremely passive/dysfunctional city government in Connecticut.

Since they were not inclined to lift a finger to pay me, I had to levy on their bank account.

This had the effect of freezing all their expenditures until they produced a certified check to me for the full amount owed.

 

There is nothing 'historic' about the flood or the ark in that story. The Jews (it's their story) that I know don't even consider it literal. I only know about 3 Jews personally though. They are practicing their religion.

 

Why do people insist on taking the Bible, especially the Old Testament, at face value?

It does more to undermine your credibility than anything else you might do (and in the case of this poster, there is no shortage of crazy).

From where I am sitting, there is no shortage of ethics on the Internet.

 

As a Jew myself, I can say I don't believe it's historic.

 

I read somewhere that multiple cultures have their own version of a "flood" story.
I think I read that on the internet.

 

Today is exactly one year from what has become to be known as Judgment Day. It will last for 45 days. Another prophecy relates that the earth's population will be reduced by 2/3rds.

The prognosis that the Three Days of Darkness will occur towards the end of those 45 days seems quite slim.

Given the week prior to next March 25, (2016 A.D.) and the foretelling in other prophecy, that more likely seems to be the time when nuclear holocaust will come upon the earth.

The most likely scenario as to weighing various prophecy is that an earthquake will strike the United States of America in the beginning of next March.

Other nations will see this as a time to kick the USA's ass.

As relief efforts fail and the prospect becomes more grim, general pandemonium will increase.

As the actual fire comes through the hand of God, and not me, I can only see these things in patches.

I am the king of Daniel 11:3 (which is the same as 8:23 and 11:21), also know as the Antichrist. The actual basis for the count is in knowing all the kings in Daniel 11 in relation to the reliable source of already fulfilled 16th French prophecy.

From my understanding, the number of flood accounts from many cultures and peoples around the world suggest that there was indeed a major flood. I say it was a phenomenom of nature, not an act of "God."

May I also add this: I joined this site because it purported to promote and further human evolution in areas of relationship and sexuality. I so respect my membership and the work of the founder and his moderators that I feel personally insulted by your response.

Do you realise you are addressing a community who are willing to give serious thought to your serious assertions, and who ask nothing more than that you respond to their seriousness with equal respect and rational effort.

 

There is nothing respectful in men exploiting men, much less women.

You ought to feel personally insulted, and much worse, though I haven't insulted anyone.

The exploitation of woman is not evolutionary, it is the real story of the wife of Adam, the first man, who has been raised from the dead.

 

An interesting question....

I subscribe to no religion and consider it to be mythology. Complex, derived from earlier and concurrent sources, but a mythology nonetheless.

However, neither can I take the position that there is no god and there cannot be.

I think there is a "force" (for want of a better word) that unites all of the universe. The weave in the tapestry, if you will. I would call that god. I think that love is a product of that just as falling is a product of gravity. And I have absolutely no factual basis for this belief.
