    So many of the books I want that are unavailable at the library are also unavailable to order online with the gift card I have. :(

    Out are:
    • The Bloody Crown of Conan, Robert E. Howard;
    • The Broken Sword, Poul Anderson;
    • Three Hearts and Three Lions, Poul Anderson;
    • Viriconium, John M. Harrison;
    • The Compleat Enchanter, L. Sprague de Camp;
    • The Well of the Unicorn, Fletcher Pratt; and
    • both books of Lankhmar, Fritz Leiber.
    I may have to go to the used market if even Amazon doesn't sell them new.

    But I did manage to order:
    • Tales of the Dying Earth, Jack Vance
    • The Worm Ouroboros, E. R. Eddison; and
    • Wizardry and Wild Romance: A Study of Epic Fantasy, Michael Moorcock

    None of my plans for the weekend ended up actually happening, but they were replaced with just-as-awesome-things-- Les Mis on Friday; staying in my jammies and playing video games all day Saturday; and lunch at a fantastic Irish pub followed by playing at the science center on Sunday.     how would they work out the compensation payout?

    assuming that i ate there 100 times in my lifetime (probably more)...

    thats 100 inches of a footlong that im entitled to.

    100/12 inches per footlong = 8.3 sandwiches

    i wonder if they'll short change me on the 0.3 this time
