    My girlfriend freaked out this morning because it was running between 69 and 70 at 5:30 when she left for work. Kept telling me "you need to wear your slippers because the floor is cold and you'll get sick." I assure you the floor was no where near cold.

    I was going for more the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical theme but no argument with that. And technically speaking the 1955 film version featured in that youtube clip was filmed in Nogales Arizona which is closer to my neck of the wood than you folks out there on the east coast.

    Got an email this morning from one of the program advisors for my Master's. "Hello, snowy, are you still interested in applying?"

    Um...I'm already in the program and this is my third term.

    He wrote back to say that apparently my transcripts had gotten mixed in with the current batch, and I was sitting here thinking--shouldn't my transcripts be in a FILE?

    Went back to see the dentist this morning because of the persistent pain. He said my left lower wisdom tooth was the worst extraction he's ever done. Said he cut away a piece of the bone trying to get it out and that's what is hurting so bad.

    I guess at least I now know why I felt like I wanted half my head amputated the last few days.

    Yeah, he refilled my anti-inflammatory. He also upped me from Vicodin to Percocet. I hate taking painkillers all day, but this would be seriously unbearable otherwise.

    I recently went through a cracked tooth ordeal, and since yours sounds so much worse, I can certainly sympathize with your pain.
