    I have two older dogs that are from the US. The first house I lived in didn't have any A/C and the dogs were always ill and listless. I had a vet do a house call one day because one of them couldn't/wouldn't move and his gums were bright red. I thought he ate something nasty on the beach. The vet came and said the dog was going into heat stroke. He took him to his kennel and I went a bought A/C units. I asked the vet how long it would take for the dogs to get used to the climate and he said "never." He also said if I see their gums turning bright red again to get them down to his office for some shots. So now my house stays max. of 26-27 and a minimum of around 20 all year 24/7. Damn dogs have cost me a small fortune.

    Holy Fuck, that was terrifying. They couldn't confirm the nose landing gear was down. Preparing for emergency evacuation landing and hearing "brace, brace, brace; brace, brace, brace!" is so freaky. We lost the hydraulic steering after landing so something was pretty wrong. But the gear was actually down.

    Allergies are driving me crazy tonight. I really shouldn't have picked up that kitty cat.

    5+ hours. Though I do like road trips. Especially when I have nice company. But it's not as fun when you've been traveling for a long time and just want to spend another night in your own bed...
