    I told them I'd heard of hookers and blow, but never hookers and a cup of tea.

    I think they meant "tea and crumpets". :p

    Well, that was serendipitous. I hate the first row, even in first class. So uncomfortable and I can't put anything under my seat.

    In other news, United Airlines employees have been awesome to deal with... On both coasts. SFO airport staff are stupidheads. Man, am I tired. Better not be any screw up with my room once I get to SB this time or I'm going to lose my shit .

    I know I complain about this all the time, but it still amazes me when people organize the paragraphing in manuscript pages like that on webpages (line spaces instead of indentation). It's even worse when you see it in an (obviously) self-published printed book.

    It caaaame! Waiting for a system update to install.

    My brain feels like mush after controlling a classroom of 8th graders 2 periods in a row while doing HILARIOUS impromptu speeches. Kinda glad I had to do it, though, as it's probably the most difficult they will be all year.

    Wild. The TFP is the only site I can get to load. I've tried like six.

    UPDATE:

    Weird. Something must be wrong with my provider. The only thing that works is the TFP, even on cellular data.

    Rogers is experiencing a DNS outage. This will cause you to be unable to visit any site that isn't in your cache. You can switch to alternate DNS servers and that will fix the issue for you.

    Canadian internet blows pretty much, in my experience, but so does Disneyland's. I use Bell Canada service each summer on Maple Lake in the Algonquin Highlands of Ontario. You are pretty much OK if you don't have bad storm--it's dish or nothing--and in the summer we get some awesome storms.
    Doesn't the Canadian Internet service, no matter what the provider, have a bad reputation in much of Canada in general?
