    But I would be remiss if I didn't comment that they are probably nicer to you when you break out the cane because you've previously beaten them about the head and neck with it and they are in fear.

    Really happy to see that our nursing fundamentals textbook is semi-focused on the caring theory of Jean Watson. I love her. I learned about her when I was in nursing school down south and I have followed her ever since. It makes me happy to see that my school will be encouraging holistic nursing. That's how my head is wrapping around 'being' a nurse. Yay.
