    Watching season 2 of Knight Rider right now and the Glen Larson added at least one hot new top 40 song to every episode by the looks of it. This episode starts with "Owner of a Lonely Heart" from Yes. Just once I want to see that Transam finish the jump when it does a "turbo boost", must be almost as messy as the General Lee landing on those 100+ foot jumps they feature nearly every episode.

    Definitely is Monday. Should be able to grab a decent nap before work tonight and continue further in Dr. Who Season 5 before that. Halfway through it now, just wish there was an easy to see the episodes past season 6. Matt Smith does a good job in the role and Karen Gillan's Scottish accent is the best yet of the recent companions. Sarah Jane Smith is still my favourite overall out of the ones I have seen.

    I hate having to work with other companies sometimes. Too bad it's such a big part of my job.

    At least I don't have to deal with the unending nightmare that is MS licensing. Ever wonder why so many IT guys drink? That's your reason, right there.

    Long day. But tomorrow should be less stressful, and the balance of the year a cake walk.

    Well, except for the 28th. One of our dearest friends has asked my wife and I to be her husband's support while she has a scheduled c-section. A few years ago I got a frantic call from her husband asking me to rush to the hospital because he was freaking out that their last baby (their first) wouldn't come naturally and the doc wanted to go c-section. He was nervous and scared and needed a shoulder to lean on. Apparently his parents, her parents, and his siblings being there weren't what he needed, lol. Later they both thanked me for rushing to the hospital from work and being there. She said he totally calmed down when I showed up. Honestly, it is an incredibly cool and honored feeling to be "that guy". I'll take being "that guy" for the handful of really close friends I am that for over being the cool casual friend to a 1000 people any day.

    Wow, didn't even expect that second paragraph to come out when I typed the first two sentences, but it already makes me feel better about my day.
