I got to spend the day on the convention floor, hanging out with my friends and having a few meetings with people I generally like.

 

Got woken up @ 6:30 by a customer call. Been working ever since. Get a short break later and then on the clock until 8 and then back on-call after that. Gotta love Wednesdays.

 

Just got the inside track of a comic book owner selling his business, Time to go and make some deals and plan for a REALLY nice Christmas.

 

They have a stock pile of MTG cards?

 

I can't decide if I'm hungover or not. I drank half of a litre of wine last night, in addition to a shot of tequila. I also confirmed that my friend's roommate is not gay.

I'm really tired.

 

I just got one thing to say..... "We're closed"

 

My SO is gonna be really pissed how much epic NYE of the decade is already costing us. And much more is gonna be added in drinking costs that very night.

I went all Middle Eastern macho male over the budget she allocated for NYE.

I laugh in schadenfreude at my inevitable, future pain of her slapping me.

 

I only wish, those things are pure gold. But he does has a rather nice collection of Yu-Gi-Oh cards, including a championship winning deck. a few dozen or so minimates, and around 3000 comics. mostly from the 80's and early 90's.

I concur my dearest Watson. I've bought and sold many a collection and I have always made money on these things. Wizards is no dumby when it comes to making money

 

The weeping angels do that to me.

 

Dr. McJerkyface is being very helpful on a project that I'm doing. Maybe he isn't so bad, but I'm not going to revert back to my school girl crush. That ship has sailed.
