a little bit of crazy everything.
a lot of noise, both upfront and in the back.
a seemingly endless stream of people and phone calls.
with said noise, animals and people, a constant throughout the day.
and all the techs so balls to the wall busy themselves that they couldn't help out.
the day was a study in centering and multitasking.

luckily the event stress was at a minimum. one really sick pet that didn't make it. most of the people in pretty good humor. except for one person on the phone who hung up on me before i could help him. good riddance. jerk.

I did EXACTLY that yesterday. Birthday boozing, post birthday.

 

Homemade pulled pork. Makes an 8.5 hour shift a little better.

 

Surprise, surprise... I bowl much better after drinking a pitcher.

My day consists of sports. Son's first basketball game of the season. Guess it's mine too since I help coach. Then off to a friend's house to watch the Ravens game. They clinch the division with a win today. Go Ravens!
