    I made the right decision in getting up early to make hubby coffee before his big day today. He was very appreciative, as he has a highly technical paper to finish and then he's going to use an instrument at a potential future employer at a site 2 hours away.

    Oh, I'm sure it will. My husband is awesome, everyone likes him, and he's got his shit together when it comes to his discipline. This is why his professor got on him to do a Ph.D :)

    The stuff he does is really neat, but I can only talk about it vaguely; some of it is covered by NDAs, and some of it is just incomprehensible if you aren't an engineer. He develops thin films for use in solar cells, but that is only a small part of what he does.

    CinnamonGirl, veggie pot pies are pretty easy to make. I've been meaning to try making my curry veggie pot pie into hand pies for freezing, but since we moved, my freezer is overflowing.

    To make things really easy, use a premade pie shell, frozen mixed veggies, and instead of making it a double-crust, top it off with mashed potatoes.

    EDIT: Now I really want a pot pie...
