Pointless Announcements

I hate being on-call. Been up working since 4am. Since I tend to be a night owl I got less than an hour of sleep last night. And now this 2hr+ support call is not helping.

 

Oh hell. The vet's office can see both boys at 3:30. One regular sized carrier... two 15+ pound boys. Fuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhk.

 

So bored.....I want to stab myself in the eye.

 

Can I watch? No offense, but Angry Uterus is slowly awakening...

Funny thing is, I initially typed "I still want to watch." but then i didn't know if it was just a glitch and would go away.

I'm sensing a theme here...

 

So, on our front counter, there's a small dish of peppermint candy; a stand-up business card holder; a little "welcome" knick knack thing; a whiteboard with a price list; and a bottle of hand sanitizer. I've noticed, that while customers are talking or waiting, they absentmindedly play with all of the above objects, and randomly move them around.

I didn't know this about myself...but that DRIVES ME ABSOLUTELY BATSHIT INSANE. I'm debating super-gluing everything down.

 

I vote to super glue it down, then throw pennies at it.

 

Velcro dots. It'll draw attention to what they're doing and they'll quit. And then you can still clean the counter. They make some that are about 3/4" in diameter.

 

Doom. Awesome game.
