    I tweaked my knee last night while sitting down. This is doublesuck because today is the big push to get things moved. Hopefully I can spend most of my time packing/unpacking and not moving heavy objects.

    A lot of family in town for the wedding stayed an extra day to attend the the fund-raising event we played last night. Extra roadies!
    The chili and beer vendors all sold out and by all accounts, the organizers exceeded their goals. Very cool. We really enjoy lending our talents to worthwhile community events.

    The bed is all cleared off and ready to go. My husband's dresser is ready to go, even though I don't want to take it and think we should just burn it. I need to get this bookshelf cleared off and his desk cleared off. Ugh, moving sucks, but when it's done, I will be SO GLAD.

    Tonight's pot of chili fought back... burned my arm on the pot, washed my hands 4 times and still didn't get the capsaicin off my hands before I rubbed my eye, and the wiri wiri pepper was like a kick in the gut. But, damn is it good.

    Mostly (90%?) moved. All the furniture is here. My desktop computer is not, but my laptop is. The desktop will make the journey tomorrow, perhaps. Maybe Tuesday. The cats are here. We don't have Internet until Wednesday, but I can hotspot with my phone for brief periods, so long as I keep an eye on my data usage.

    On the plus side I went to my first NFL game today. Got to see the Ravens beat the Raiders 55-10.

    I just cannot get motivated at work lately. I've recently come to the realization (prompted by massive changes at my place of employment) that I really do not want a career. I want a job I like and am good at, but in the end I no longer want my job to have a such a large role in my life. I'm sure this is something my manager does not want to hear.

    So I was watching a show last night about a guy who needed to have his penis amputated. (I know...ouch.) He was from the same town where CinnamonGirl and Lordeden reside. I wasn't laughing at the fact that he lost his penis, because that really is sad. I was laughing because, bless their hearts ,they were so redneck. They showed wedding pictures and...oh my. Overalls and camo...for both the bride and the groom.

    They were the most adorably sweet couple though.
