Some girl just flipped me the bird and I didn't even have the pleasure of doing anything to wrank the little ponytailed twit off.

I also sliced open my thumb with a hypodermic needle at work this morning.

In better news, it's 1:37 and I'm done with work for the day.
AND, I'm about to go have my first mani-pedi done in about six months. Woohoo! (yay, groupon.)

OH, and I almost forgot, Sweet Tomatoes is buy one get one free in honor of election night. Food! Sweet.

Took my truck in for a $30 oil change yesterday morning. Hopefully I'll get it back tomorrow afternoon after $300+ in repairs. Stupid Dodge.

 

Stupid Amex has turned off my corporate card because they can't talk to Chase right. Seriously, this is a pain in the ass.

 

The cotton has been picked and the plants have been mowed down. The white cottony remains left scattered all over the black dirt will make the fields look like a giant slice of devil's food cake for four months. Yummy!

 

I'm considering wearing mittens in the office. I have those mittens that magically transform into fingerless gloves, so I might.

Also, today would have been my dad's 65th birthday.

 

You know that you're in a relationship that's going to last when you spend almost an hour discussing one political topic without the discussion getting heated and without any negative feelings coming from either end.

 

So, while I'm at the salon getting my nails done, I read an article about a young man from India who was separated from his brother in a train station when he was five and never found his way back again. He ended up being adopted by a couple in Australia and, at the age of 25, found his hometown with the help of Google Earth. Isn't that incredible? I love that story.

Ugh. I have to take two Bengals in to the vet's for shots in a week or two. By myself. We only have one carrier, so someone's going to be on the harness... MAX.

I picked up the 25th Anniversary Blu-Ray edition of "The Princess Bride" today. At $9 the price was "mostly dead". Great movie and easily one of the most quotable.
