    So, my stepdad is up on the stage last night with the other two honorees, in a sort of 'roasting' ceremony and he says, 'I think I'm the only incoming president that ever slept with the outgoing president.' (that would be my mom.) The place went wild.

    There was one man who got up to speak and recognized my mom, who was not only the first woman president of the organization, but one of the folks who worked tirelessly to get the organization on its feet. That was nice. She said it didn't bother her to be overlooked, and it prob. didn't to any great extent, but I was happy for her that someone stood up and said 'if it wasn't for her, none of us would be here tonight.' The industry was a total boy's club. Still is, pretty much.

    It was a really nice time. I'm so glad that I was able to be there.

    Trenta iced green tea, 28 oz of snapple diet half-and -half (tea/lemonade), and a powerade zero. 50oz of caffeine, lots of B vitamins and I'm still half asleep. Can't do the 5hr Energies or coffee... I'm screwed.

    Saturday market, then picking up some cookies shaped like Benny Beaver at a local bakery. Game isn't until tonight. :( I don't like the late games as much as I like a 3pm game. 3pm is perfect.

    3 hours of Eastern Market with my dad today. Over 20 pounds of fresh produce (fruits AND veggies) for around $20. We're very happy. Then Lafayette Coney. Been a good day so far :)

    I hate dealing with end users. The whole point of taking a job where I work with servers is so that I don't have to deal with end users. So why am I dealing with end users?

    That beer is starting to sound like an excellent idea.
