Pointless Announcements

My first thought on reading this was Bilbo Baggins with his bad head cold - "Thag you very buch"

 

Massive rainstorm at 3am... thunder, lightening, and lots of very noisy rain. Not a lot of sleep.

And I have noodle's cold. Ugh.

 

aquariums are clean...slightly stressed out but happy fish now

 

The day is almost over. 30 minutes until I can go home and sleep.

 

said it before but...........Mondays can kiss my ass.

 

It's going to be a looooooooooooooooooong day.

Little storm action here last night. Lot of clean up to be done and I assume power/net will be on and off all day.

 

Probably won't hear anything about the job until tomorrow...but I keep checking my phone and my email anyway. Arg.

 

Waiting for my doctor to call me back. I don't like these antibiotics.

 

Eye drops are my friend.

 

It's the first day of the new term. There are students EVERYWHERE. The new ones are easy to spot because they look so lost. I will be hiding in my office all day to avoid them, but saying over and over again, "The students are the reason I have a job. The students are the reason I have a job. The students are the reason I have a job. The students are the reason I have a job."

 

I have removed more snot from my head than I have ever previously thought possible Over the past 3 weeks.
I also had to wake up and remove Max's claws from my back yesterday morning... he was hanging from It by his claws. He made up for it last night by snuggling into me the entire night and purring me to sleep. Little bastard. Lol.

 

I had a sit down with my boss this morning and she actually complimented me...in her own way. Lots of drama about to go down, though. Things might get ugly.

 

Sonuvabitch. Some jerkoff just bid up this gun I wanted to within $10 of my max price. Keep bidding, asshole. You are $10 away from getting it. TAKE IT OFF OF MY HANDS NOW!

 

It seems I have a pimple in my ear canal. My earbuds are veddy uncomfortable.
