    Yuck. I had strep throat frequently as a kid. Once my brother had his tonsils out I never had it again. Thank goodness.

    On a side note, I really hate when people say "I have strep throat" but don't bother to go get a culture and a conclusive diagnosis. Strep doesn't go away on its own and expecting it to can have consequences, unlike any number of viral infections a person can get that also give a person a sore throat. The sore throat in strep doesn't compare to a regular sore throat.

    Just got back from Madison, WI. Went to see Coheed and Cambria play at The Majestic with GeneticShift and a couple of my other friends. I now have no voice and am a bit more sleep-deprived than I was hoping for, but HOLYCARPS WAS IT WORTH IT.
    My first "bigger than 50 people" show, and it was AMAZING.

    I always daydream at these things and find myself dancing around the room during breaks, never leaving my chair. haha
    I just would like for once, make a good statment about a subject and get the juices running in the room, but it is always blah,blah,blah.

    There is one glaring downside to living in an apartment with a high ceiling, and I only noticed just now.

    The fucking smoke alarm is damn near impossible to turn off until it has decided there is no more smoke (which there never was).
