    Heaviest fog I have encountered since my childhood years in Germany. Almost no visibility a 25 meters range.

    Dubai's roads are a killzone right now. Thank heaven I'm not driving at the moment.

    Fantastic day at the middle school! We read one of my favorite short stories, and I had a meeting with my field supervisor. I think I've got all the details worked out with my mentor teacher about my practicum, which is good since I'll be bugging him for the next eight months.

    Survived the trade show. Had a few interesting people come through later in the afternoon. A whole huge crew of Amish were there, that kind of was unexpected. But I guess it makes a little sense since they are often involved in constructing steel buildings for agriculture (both for themselves, and in doing so as a business).

    Turning in that midterm takes a huge weight off my shoulders. We'll see what kind of grade they decide to assign me, I found it a fairly simple set of essays, just a lot to cram into 24 hours.

    coming home at 4am after a night out with the boys in Bur Dubai (dont ask me which seedy places we went to) meant driving at 15km/hr down Al Khail Rd with no visibility past my bonnet. Took me almost an hour to get to the Marina at that pace.
