  1. Yes. I'm a vegetarian, but I don't remember ever really liking it. It's salty and greasy.

You know better ZS, but millions of people love to stuff salty, greasy food in their gobs.

I eat American bacon a couple of times a year--crisp, usually in a BLT. When I was a little kid my dad the mad scientist, filled me in on nitrates in processed meats. Ruined my enjoyment of many kid foods of that era. In Canada, it was 'mac and cheese loaf'. Sliced bologna-like substance with holes in it filled with orange, cheese-like substance. Delish then, gag-inducing now.

I think this is the first time I have ever written something that could be called an "obituary". Not going to be put in a newspaper or anything, but a message to the person's loved ones and friends.

He was a good man and I'll miss his charm and competence in our industry.

I was rudely awakened at 2 am with restless legs. After an hour, I go up and stood in a hot shower for 30 minutes, took two flexeril and 4 ibuprofen and waited another 45 minutes to fall back asleep.
And then, apparently I turned off all six alarms and woke up 54 m late. It's going to be a banner day. :/

Look on the bright side, at least you got some extra sleep to deal with it.

  14. I'm starting to re-realize the fact that I avoid most people as a rule because I don't want them talking about the shit that I do. If you're gonna talk about me, do it to my face...

In other news, I'm showing early signs of The Death, so I'm laying around my house and eating *actual* food until noon when I have to go into work.

Spoke to my father this morning about the Presidential debate last night, which was a bad idea because he was super pumped up for Mitt Romney and thinks the guy is going to change everything and make everything better. I quickly mentioned that nothing is going to change and everything will be the same because congress are a bunch of babies and refuse to work together.

I think that was safe territory. Put it down to congressional partisanship. I thought you were going to say you'd brought up the fact that for every Obama stretch of the truth, Romney beat him with 4 out and out lies. I could see that getting a Romney supporter riled up.

I give families with vastly different political opinions a lot of credit for not killing one another. :)
