Use it wisely, grasshopper. My ex drove off the road and killed himself while in an ambien blackout a month ago.

It does do the trick but I'd advise never taking more than the prescribed dosage. And best to give your car keys to someone else before taking it.

Yeah, sleep-walking is a major side effect, hence the need to prevent yourself from having access to a vehicle or a gun.

I wanted to ask you Joniemack how the kids are doing with all that... last month. Was thinking about all of you.

  6. Never, ever take it until I am ready for bed. I have learned to not check email after I have taken one. Crap, if I can't operate a keyboard I sure as hell wouldn't make it out of the garage.

My mom had an episode where she saw cherubs in her bathroom and ended up in the hospital with what was diagnosed as an undetermined cerebral event. Turned out it was probably the ambien.

They are also usually attractive and thin. See, even upper-middle class white females are victims. Perhaps we need an affirmative action program. Criminals should be encouraged to practice greater diversity in their choice of victims.
As hitees you guys are just waaaay too easy. And after a few more drinks, aren't we all hot. I mean, in your judgement?

I took Ambien for quite awhile after my heart failure. Never a single problem with it but like you, I'd not ever consider doing anything more complicated than flossing after an Ambien & before bed.

  11. Most of us have had too little experience of being hit on. Once it happens, it's like SPROING!

I left super early today so I could snag a close parking spot because my hips are in so much pain. But all of that extra time was sucked up by slow-moving farm equipment. There are no good spots and a pedestrian scolded me for not using my blinker when I turned from a right-turn-only. I'm so frustrated. It hurts to walk, can I go back to bed?

Same here. I've been on Ambien for years and haven't had any issues. Doesn't mean it won't happen or that people should take more than prescribed, but I tend to chalk these episodes up to individual use not the drug.

Before I get jumped on, I just want to clarify that individual use (as I'm meaning it) basically is just that every one is different and some people may experience things on a drug that others won't. I have a super high tolerance to opiates and sleep aids, but I've seen people take a really low dose and have side effects.

  20. Still sick. Lost my voice. I played the martyr card and came into work because it's a Chairs and Directors meeting sort of day. Didn't need to be at this one though, so I'm tying up some loose ends and then leave to go back to bed.

The associate dean made fun of what voice I do have. She told me I could be a voice in cartoons.
