Pointless Announcements

Making it my mission to attempt to finish all the half read books on my Kindle by the end of this upcoming weekend instead of rereading old favorites. Good thing I have a few days off and just bought some new tea to curl up on the couch with!

 

Now that sounds like a nice way to spend a few days.

 

Slightly overcast, a little windy, 83 degrees... Yep, it's the perfect day to curl up with the windows open and get some reading done. With kittehs. And in my pjs... gotta get these cranky pants off.

 

I hate it when pants get in the way.

 

That's the best part of grad school. It is socially acceptable not to wear real person pants on a regular basis.

 

I so need to go back to school. LOL

 

But the thing about grad school, you see, is that it is grad school, and I am currently listening to a 2 hour lecture about Competitive Inhibition of Enzymatic Reactions. I'd be willing to trade for awhile.

 

I'm sorry, did you say something? I was distracted by the image of a room full of co-eds not wear pants.

 

Of course there are the few overachievers that wear suits (men and women) to class. No thanks. I'm happy in the back of the room with my group of sweats/glasses/no makeup/cranky kids. We also seem to be doing to best in the class. I'm going to start studying the correlation of comfort to grades in high level Biochemistry classes.

I thought I was okay about the transition into old age I can see on my horizon, but as it turns out, I was wrong.

In my mind, I realize that I'm still a 30 something. Rats!

 

I wonder what it means when a tonsil comes out of its little hidey-hole, turns yellow, and develops white spots.
Just one tonsil, mind you. What the hell is that?

 

Sounds like Tonsillitis. The less than welcome result of tonsils doing what they were intended to do - prevent bacteria from going any further into your system.

Probably requires a trip to the doctor for some antibiotics. Tonsils can only handle so much and I'd say this guy has reached his limit.
