i dont think the hangover is helping.

 

i looked at that bottle of spanish red with some trepidation. uh oh, i said as i opened it. this is probably a bad idea over the 4th glass.

 

*Yawns, stretches* Good Morning.

 

I'm always ready for beavers....

 

A bamboo charcoal cocktail at some point before calling it a night. I prefer the loose stuff mixed in cold water but I hear the pills do the trick as well. It works for me.

And there's nothing better for instant (and I mean instant) relief from the heartburn episodes that make you swear you're having a heart attack. (pill form probably won't work as quickly)

If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend you do. It can be purchased over the internet or you might possibly be able to find it in your local health food coop. I was given a fairly large supply of it by a friend and haven't had the need to replenish yet.

But seriously I root for the Ducks and Beavers more than any of the local teams in the palouse area.

 

They had a "appreciation day" for the home team at work on Friday where you could wear a cougs shirt rather than the normal dress code shirt.
I had to laugh at the very notion that I would even own of those. The do have better colours than the Vandals at least and going for 4-50 over the past few years is better than 2-50 at any rate.*

*and no, I do not care what the actual records of either team are or have been. I just know that the Vandals have been "less than stellar" .

 

That reminds me, I would have worn a Huskies shirt on Friday if I actually had one and I could have. The whole UW/WSU rivalry thing amuses me, especially how some people around these parts react to it.

 

Guinness chocolate cheesecake cooling on the counter.

Going to top it with guinness whipped cream so each slice looks like Guinness.

I'm not vegan, but my non-meat cure is pretty much anything with tomatoes. Tomato juice is good. Toast with tomato sauce is better.
