    It's exec produced by Scorsese. Mark Walhberg is a producer as well...but there's no funky bunch.

    The show has powerful characters, great editing, (mostly) correct history and good flow. It's not just the lead roles that are powerful, the bit players are strong and do a great job of supporting. Check it out HBO on demand.

    I think it's safe to say that the history is only correct when it's convenient to the plot. That way they don't have historical figures doing things everyone knows they didn't do - like FDR shooting Capone, or something equally silly.
