I didn't take that job interview too seriously, but I made my interviewers giggle at least and gave them some marketing ideas that they can use if I take the job or not. The ideas were specific enough to their unique market that it wasn't a big deal that I told them my ideas. They asked for a unique idea...I gave them one.

 

Sometimes too serious can be a bad thing.

So I just checked my email and there's one there from my apartment complex telling me that I need to prepare for the hurricane.
And I'm all like, 'what hurricane?'
I might as well be living in 19th century Florida when people still lived in crackerbox houses out in the swamps and got news through the mailman who stopped by once a month. maybe.

 

Oh yeah, it's a bitch to get rid of it. Uninstall it, keep your fingers cross that it works.

 

That is foolish, no one is forcing them to actually use it. I just ignore it personally, and view it something very similar to the standard archive/index of older posts you see on Wordpress blogs and similar places.
I think that the timeline is as useless as the facebook email address they think you need but to each their own.

On a completely different topic, I get such confidence in my knee when it complains about going from 80ish weather outside to a nice cooled store. The limp does not bother me, but the stupid f**king questions of "Are you alright?" with an honestly concerned look on their face got old more than a few years ago.
