I dropped a book on my phal. orchid and its newest leaf is partially broken at the mid-line.
So sorry. Ouch.

I had to work double shift yesterday, someone got sick and they couldn't get another replacement. I should get nicely paid for overtime. I hope this won't happen often though...

I feel your pain. Three months ago, I slammed a window against a flowering spike, when escorting out a slug which had found its way into the room. nope. Doesn't feel good. Heck. Now I'm in a kind of mourning mood.
Argh ... now, this minute ... ... my own phal ... I've left it for its 1/2 hour per two weeks pot-soak ... for two hours. I'm off to drain it right now.

Oh ... to say Where's Strange Famous and chinese crested? I've not seen them for a while, and they disappeared at the same time. Late summer holiday, I hope.

 

Got a wicked cold and missed two days of work. Four day weekend! cough-cough-cough ah fuck, I think that was my lung.

 

There's anspeeping Monkie on my couch and a konked out Mixedmedia in my cat room. Tonight, there will be chili.

 

Three of my favourite people all under one roof. How cool is that?

 

Playing in the great outdoors tonight. Just a workday to get through first.

I had chili night before last, then chili-burgers last night with the left-overs.
It was dull fare indeed without the MixedMonkieNoodle thrown into the mix.

 

Today I will run!! Well, maybe just walk.

Enjoying a delicious cup of coffee and sitting at noodle's dining room table. Monkie is still sleeping. It's very quiet.

Just took one step closer to the Vegas promotion. Just got word I am one of the final two candidates.

 

I should be working on my job or school assignment, not browsing tfp and chatting with a former lover on Facebook...

There's a Krispy Kreme like 6 minutes from my house.
