    I remember seeing that in some art house theater in the mid-1990's, buying an unsubtitled laserdisc, then buying a censored subtitled VHS copy, and eventually buying an uncensored unsubtitled Hong Kong import DVD.

    I can't bring myself to buy the domestic US DVD. As much as I like the movie, I've spent too much bread on different versions of the movie. (The laserdisc cost me $139, as I recall.)

    Ahh... the days when I had hundreds of dollars to spend on buying movies...

    Woman is cleaning the guest bathroom, finds a 6" brown hair on the rug in front of the shower, asks about your mistress and you have to admit that it was just Lordeden with his new seedy biker mane. I was totally going to milk it for all the "But we talked about this... you know I love brunettes with short hair... you can get your own backdoor man whenever you want while I'm off on a business trip..." I could, but it was just too funny.

    The boys have this new backtalk thing where they go "Ugggh" whenever they don't like an instruction they've been given. I'm considering turning it around on them and ugghing like they do whenever I don't like their behavior.

    Hah!

    Too bad I only have another week with these guys--they're finally learning what I won't tolerate: arguing with me and backtalk are my two pet peeves. I don't mind negotiating with children, but there are some things that are non-negotiable. I've tried to demonstrate to them this summer that there are times when I will give them choices and ask for their opinion, and there are times when I won't do either--the latter is when they need to listen well and follow directions. Usually the latter is related to issues of personal safety. The 7-year-old understood this from the outset; the 3-year-old is just beginning to grasp it.
