    I don't want to go to work today as it means I have to buckle down and be productive. Thank goodness my boys understand what homework is. The eldest took a peek at my homework a couple weeks ago while I was reading a journal article on mobile learning at the secondary level. He asked if all my homework was like that. Pretty much, I said. He asked if I could actually read all the words on the screen. Pretty much, I said. He decided that I must be a) really smart and b) my homework must be really hard. I don't want to disabuse him of either notion.

    not just walmart; these eye-burners are everywhere down here...

    meanwhile, i went out and played 9 holes of golf this morning - first time out since march. very tired but hit the ball reasonably straight, made a couple good putts and a couple really neat short iron shots, and generally feel really good about getting out...

    damn, i'm fired up!!!
