    Finally updating the Ubuntu 12.04 installation on my laptop. Should get wireless on this then after some tweaking, this would fall under an "educational experience" which is a good thing I suppose.

    Might even play with compiling GIMP 2.8 in the next day or two. The included 2.6.12 is sorely lacking to put it nicely by comparison.

    Definitely is prettier than windows and has a more powerful CLI. Have to make a small mental shift as my brain says things like "ipconfig" rather than "ifconfig".
    Not having Internet Explorer anywhere near it is a huge plus as well.

    What is just as exciting to me is the DVD full of radio shows that I found last night. There is a whole boatload of Lone Ranger shows and the later western Frontier Town.

    FINALLY feeling halfway better from the C Diff crap, on the 9th day, and 5th day of meds. Still 5 more days of meds, and still haven't had any really rich/good foods yet. I'm really craving a ribeye and a glass of wine.
