Pointless Announcements

For whatever reason, I was jonesin' for a Meg Ryan movie. I would've preferred French Kiss or Addicted to Love, but Sleepless in Seattle will do.

 

Sigh. I think...the Pacific Northwest might very well be perfect.


I just need to come to terms with the fact that it's so far from my family. I'm working on that.

Holeeeee shit, it's funny how a single, random comment can remind you of something. I just remembered the movie, Quarterback Princess. I had totally forgotten about it, but I absolutely loved it when I was 13. I definitely need to buy it. (Edit: Except it only appears to be available on VHS...and, at the moment, I do not have a VCR. Boooo.)

 

Pilates, more packing, then a plane.

 

My work will be paying for my future I.T. certifications as long as I pass them. Great news for me.

 

Yahoo sent this piece of comedy this morning, was worth a chuckle at least.

This of course implies that I actually use this software or view it as more than pre-installed malware. I like how "Yahoo homepage, toolbar, and search built in" are incentives to upgrade.

 

My SO has been listening to SBS PopAsia online all day and been annoying my neighbors with my sound system.

Gotta say, there's been a surprising lot of songs I happened to actually like. As far as I could tell, they play mainly Japanese pop/rap/rnb/rock and throw in some tracks from South Korea, China, Taiwan, Singapore and the US at random intervals.

 

Been listening to that for the past couple hours. Good background music.

 

Yeah, I have it playing in the background while I play Mass Effect 2.

 

Uhh....yeah. I live here! I'm like family.
